Who we are
Dr Gervase Chaney
Gervase Chaney is a general paediatrician working full-time
at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children. He has previously
worked in private practice in Mandurah, in the Fremantle Hospital
paediatric unit and in emergency paediatrics at PMH. Until recently
he was Director of Postgraduate Medical Education at PMH, however
more recently he has been involved in metropolitan paediatric
and hospital planning. He is presently the Director of Clinical
Planning and Reform, which includes the medical responsibility
for the recently introduced Hospital in the Home Program. He
is actively involved in the Royal Australasian College of Physicians
Paediatric and Child Health Division at a state and national
level. He has interests in child accident prevention (currently
he is the president of Kidsafe WA), child protection and refugee
health.
