Scope
Health Networks are being established as part of the reform of WA Health. They are a means of providing a new collaborative focus across all clinical disciplines, health sectors and consumer communities to inform strategic and operational planning for health services.
The Digestive Health Network will drive the development and facilitate the delivery of more patient-centred, sustainable and effective clinical services for all those with digestive conditions.
Priority areas for the Digestive Health Network will include:
- Colorectal Cancer Screening
- Viral Hepatology
- Non-alcoholic fatty liver disease
- Dietetic services
Priorities will be addressed from both prevention and clinical/health service delivery perspectives.
Network Executive Advisory Group
A Digestive Health Network Clinical Advisory Group, chaired by the Clinical Lead has been established to govern the network. Current membership is as follows:

Workshop
Digestive Health Network Stakeholders Workshop
A Digestive Health Network Stakeholders Workshop was held on 2 February 2007.
This event provided an opportunity for stakeholders to come together to discuss and provide input on the development of Digestive Health Network priorities.
