The Infections and Immunology Health Network aims to improve clinical expertise, implement evidence-based protocols, promote patient-centred services, and make the best use of resources to improve the health and well being of patients across all continuums of care.
The Network has a broad scope that incorporates all areas relevant to infections and immunity. It takes into account issues relevant to both the community and hospitals. Areas included in the brief are all aspects of immunology, as well as prevention, surveillance, treatment and vaccination approaches to both current and emerging infectious diseases.
