Delivering a Healthy WA
 Musculoskeletal Health Network

The Musculoskeletal Health Network

The Musculoskeletal Health Network aims to provide advice and direction on where and how services should be delivered for people with musculoskeletal conditions – so people get the right care, at the right time, by the right team and in the right place.

The Executive Advisory Group provides strategic leadership of the Musculoskeletal Health Network and is led by Dr James Williamson and Professor Piers Yates.

The Network’s membership diversity is reflected in the make-up of its Executive Advisory Group, which includes consumers, health professionals and non-clinical health workers from a range of government, community and private organisations and services across Western Australia.

Priority areas for the Network, as identified by stakeholders, include:

  • Inflammatory and Non-inflammatory Arthritis
  • Spinal Pain
  • Osteoporosis
  • Joint replacement technology and services
  • Soft tissue conditions
