Clin Assoc Prof Peter Kendall
Clin Assoc Prof Peter Kendall is the Senior Staff Specialist and Head of Department, Respiratory Medicine and the Director of the Clinical Practice Unit at Fremantle Hospital, South Metropolitan Health Service. He also provides a regular visiting specialist service to WA Country Health Service in Bunbury and Narrogin. He has a small private practice in Fremantle.
He is a Clinical Senior Lecturer, in Medicine at the University of Western Australia (UWA). Peter is also a clinical surveyor with Australian Council on Health Care Standards and has completed twenty-seven surveys in the past ten years.
He originally trained and practiced as an Intensivist. He has also been a Director of Physician Training and a Member of the Committee for Examinations of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Peter is actively involved in health system reform and best practice initiatives including committee work with the Office of Safety and Quality and he was a member of the Respiratory Reference Group convened to develop the WA Chronic Disease Clinical Service Improvement Framework.
