Sleep disorders

The Sleep Disorders Working Group includes medical specialists in the field of sleep disorders as well as a consumer advocate. The group has identified three key areas for improvement in Western Australia:

  • current service delivery model in public hospitals and the role of the private sector
  • maintenance and availability of equipment
  • access to diagnostic services for country residents

The group is developing a draft model of care which is currently being circulated for comment prior to finalising.
